Hear seasoned executives from Canada and the United States on the challenges of producing and programming content in 2020 and how they overcame them in one of the fastest-changing environments in recent memory.

This panel discussion will be moderated by Judy Lung - VP Communications and Marketing at Touchwood PR – and will feature Nelvana President Pam Westman and Senior Vice President, Programming and Strategy for TLC (part of Discovery Networks), Rick Holzman.

Pam Westman- President of Nelvana


As President of Nelvana, Pam oversees both the animation studio and business arms.  Prior to this position, Pam was instrumental in establishing and expanding Nelvana's brand development and monetization of the Nelvana portfolio, including licensing, marketing, content sales, and digital on a global basis.

Pam brings over 20 years of experience within the kid’s entertainment industry, managing key children’s brands and their revenue streams. Read her bio here.

Rick Holzman - Senior Vice President, Programming and Strategy, TLC


Reporting directly to TLC President and General Manager Howard Lee, Rick Holzman leads TLC’s programming strategy and scheduling efforts, managing an innovative team that plays a crucial role in supporting the expansion of the network brand across all media platforms.

Previously, Holzman spent 10 years in senior network leadership positions at Discovery, most recently as General Manager of Animal Planet.  Read his bio here.

Judy Lung - Vice President, Communications and Marketing, Touchwood PR


Judy Lung is a communications and marketing executive with 20 years of experience creating PR, marketing, and social media campaigns for some of Canada's leading arts and entertainment organizations.
